[attr="class","snub-greyson"]The tiny blip that is the Observatory is impressive even at this altitude. The landmark stood out on such a small island, Greyson's eyes narrowing against the wind to take it in entirely.

He pats the Dragonite's shoulder.

"Take us down."

In minutes he finds himself standing outside the massive doors his hand wrapped neatly around the handle. With a heavy exhale, he pushes it in and steps through.

It was as breathtaking inside as it was out, a massive spherical dome encompassing the entirity of the roof and an even more impressive telescope aimed upwards to peer at things beyond the stars.

Silhouetted by the Dragonite, his voice rises just enough to echo across the entire space.

"Neffatari Nzingha ?"

Nenet arches a single eyebrow at the display, her head tilting subtly to the side. She does not move - not noticeably freeze at his introduction or relationship. Instead, she observes him in turn.

Her voice measured, when she answers it's with a simple, "I see." She recognised the name, nebulously, as one of those listed as an Elite Four for the region. Still.

It's then Nenet finally moves, her hand motioning towards one of the nearby doorways to suggest, "Perhaps we should speak in private." A tight smile is flashed.

She does not wait for his acknowledgement, instead moving purposefully towards the indicated doorway and into a small side room - really little more than a makeshift break room - but with a door that could close and a fresh pot of coffee already brewed.

"I can do my best to answer questions about Ultra Space, though I have little I can tell you of Zev."

And, most importantly, that this woman in-front of him wasn’t lying.

“Lead the way,” he replies back evenly, their footfalls echoing slightly beneath the concaved roof.

Once inside Greyson does a quick scan of his surroundings, keeping the Dragonite just outside the door.

“I’ll take what I can get.” He strains himself from being clipped towards the woman. It wasn’t anything she had done but rather the thought of the Avatar sent ripples of anger through him.

Some of that impatience leaks through just a bit as he speaks next.

“First things first—tell me everything you know about Zev.”

A soft hum is his answer. Were she a lesser woman, something crass would have come as his reply. Instead she asks softly, indulgently, "What do you think our relationship was?"

Nenet blinks once at Greyson. Nosy man. "Yes," she finally agrees. Placing the coffee down on the table, she folds her hands and exhales, debating how much to tell of her personal life. She had never been one to be forthcoming. "When we broke up it wasn't under pleasant terms. He wanted more out of the relationship than I."

Not bothering to hide his sigh of frustration, Greyson pushes off the wall and takes a step or two in her direction, finding a chair of his own.

"I'd apologize for diving into your personal life like that, but I'd be lying. It was necessary in more ways than the obvious."

He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a thumb drive. He keeps it in his grip, tapping the plastic casing methodically against atop the table.

"We're working on something that could benefit from your expertise." His gaze hardens even more than before, if that was possible. "Yet I have more questions than answers about you and something like this, well, it could drive Team Rocket not only from Hoenn, but Kanto as well."

Nenet's gaze flick back up to meet Greyson's at his declaration. She sits in silence for a moment, debating her next words before she finally speaks again.

"I don't know what I can do to prove I haven't spoken to Zev until we were captured and placed in the same cell, and that I haven't spoken to him since. But if you would like my expertise on a subject other than my ex, then by all means." Her hands spread, inviting Greyson to speak his piece about whatever he has come to see her about other than her connection to Zev.
